Callaway Announce Elyte Mini Driver

The Tech

Top of the bag versatility – More forgiving and easier to launch than a fairway wood, the Elyte Mini Driver is designed to be a reliable alternative when precision off the tee is crucial. With a slightly larger head than a typical fairway wood, it offers improved stability without the bulk of a full-size driver.

For additional customisation, Callaway has incorporated neutral, fade, and draw settings, giving golfers more control over their ball flight. Whether shaping shots or maximising distance, the adjustable settings ensure versatility for different playing conditions.

Elyte speed from enhanced shaping – Speed and forgiveness go hand in hand with the new Elyte shaping. The clubhead is designed with advanced aerodynamics, allowing for increased swing speed without compromising control. This refined shaping optimises airflow during the swing, helping players generate consistent power.

In addition to speed, the design prioritises launch conditions. With a slightly deeper face and improved weighting, the Elyte Mini enhances forgiveness and ensures high launch with minimal spin. Whether used off the tee or from the fairway, the club delivers solid performance.

The future of composites – Callaway has pushed the boundaries of materials with the introduction of a new Thermoforged Carbon crown. This aerospace-grade carbon fibre construction reduces overall weight while maintaining strength, allowing for a strategic redistribution of mass to optimise performance.

By lowering the center of gravity, the design promotes faster clubhead speeds and a higher moment of inertia (MOI). The result is a club that feels balanced, stable, and responsive at impact, helping players achieve consistent shots with ease.

Ai Advancements

At the heart of the Elyte Mini Driver is Callaway’s most advanced Ai face to date—the Ai10X Face. This cutting-edge technology delivers ten times more control points than the previous Ai Smart Face, resulting in a more refined and precise striking surface.

With Ai-driven optimisations, the face structure is engineered to produce exceptionally fast ball speeds while maintaining tight dispersion. This ensures golfers experience more control, better accuracy, and optimised launch conditions across the entire hitting area.

Shaft & Head Options

The Elyte Mini Driver comes in two loft options: 11.5° and 13.5°, catering to a range of player preferences. Both options feature a 57° lie angle and a 340cc clubhead, striking a balance between a driver and a fairway wood.

Shaft options include the True Temper Project X Denali Charcoal, available in 50g and 60g options, and the Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio for women, weighing 40g. Additionally, players can choose between the Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip and the Winn Dri Tac 2.0 grip for women.

Callaway Elyte Mini Pricing

With the Elyte Mini Driver, Callaway offers an appealing option for golfers seeking an alternative to traditional drivers. Its combination of advanced materials, aerodynamic shaping, and Ai-enhanced technology ensures a club that delivers both power and precision.

The Callaway Elyte Mini driver comes in with a premium price of RRP £449 and available from the 2nd April 2025.
