Srixon has announced its new ZXi RKT Woods line-up, covering drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. The range consists of the ZXi RKT LS, ZXi RKT, and ZXi RKT MAX drivers, plus corresponding ZXi RKT Fairway Woods and ZXi RKT Hybrids, with women’s-specific versions available across each category.
According to Srixon, the new woods represent a full redesign rather than an incremental update on the previous generation, with the company citing two years of prototype testing and Tour player input as part of the development process.
The core technology across the range is what Srixon calls RKT Face. This is a combination of a new face alloy (branded VR-Titanium, said to contain added silicon for extra flex) and an updated i-FLEX face structure. Srixon says this combination improves energy transfer at impact and increases ball speed across a larger area of the face, though as with most manufacturer face technologies, independent robot testing will be the real test of how much of that translates on course.
Two further features are said to target off-centre hits specifically: a Variable Roll Design, Srixon’s term for face curvature intended to keep mis-hits closer to the target line, and a Rebound Frame, a two-zone flex system the brand says helps preserve ball speed on strikes away from the centre.
Srixon has also put some emphasis on sound this generation. The Acousticore chassis pairs internal rib structures (described as “AI-optimised”) with a carbon fibre crown, which the company says was tuned through simulation and testing to produce a particular impact tone.
Sound preference is fairly subjective, so this is one to judge in person rather than take at face value from Srixon!
The Driver Line-Up
Three drivers are being introduced, each aimed at a different type of player:
- ZXi RKT LS – pitched as the low-spin option for faster swing speeds, with adjustable front-to-back weighting. Available in 8.0°, 9.0° and 10.5°, 460cc, stock Mitsubishi Kai’li Dark Waves White 60 shaft.
- ZXi RKT – the standard model, described by Srixon as balancing speed, forgiveness and workability, with heel-toe adjustable weighting. Available in 9.0° and 10.5°, on a Kai’li Dark Waves Blue 60 shaft.
- ZXi RKT Max – billed as Srixon’s highest-MOI driver to date, with a single rear-low adjustable weight rather than a movable track. Available in 9.0°, 10.5° and 12.0°, on a Kai’li Dark Waves Red CB 50 shaft. A women’s MAX version is also offered, built on a lighter Mitsubishi Bassara PL 40 shaft with a shorter length and softer grip.
All three heads are 460cc and 45.75″ at standard length.
Fairway Woods and Hybrids
Both the fairway woods and hybrids share the same RKT Face design as the drivers. The notable addition here is what Srixon describes as its most comprehensive adjustability system to date: an Adjustable Sole Weight used alongside an Adjustable Hosel Sleeve, allowing changes to launch, swing weight and distance gapping from the same head.
The fairway woods are offered in 3+, 3, 5 and 7 loft options, with the 3W and 3+W using a carbon crown that Srixon says lowers mass placement and improves COR. The hybrids run from 2H to 6H, with a compact head shape aimed at players wanting a more controlled ball flight from rough or tight lies. Women’s versions of both use the Bassara PL 40 shaft with shorter lengths and lighter grips.
Pricing and Release Dates
The ZXi RKT, ZXi RKT LS and ZXi RKT Max drivers will retail for £569.00. The ZXi RKT Fairway Woods are priced at £339.00, while the ZXi RKT Hybrids come in at £289.00. The range will be fully available at retrail from 16th October 2026.
