PXG Launches Bat Attack ZT Putter

PXG, the brand known for pushing golf club design to the extreme, have now joined the growing list of brands with the launch of its second Zero Torque Putter. The all new PXG Bat Attack ZT putter is said to be combining the brands iconic mallet designs with more advanced technology, delivering elite level performance and unrivaled face control.

The second release in PXG’s Zero Torque Putter collection is the Bat Attack ZT Putter. It builds on the momentum of the PXG Allan Putter. It’s shaft axis aligns just above the center of gravity helping reduce torque for better control. Helping golfer’s keep a square face with less effort and no extra manipulation.

“With the Bat Attack ZT, we’ve taken one of our most iconic putter designs and made it better than ever. This flatstick delivers all the stability and control you need – without compromising on feel or feedback. If you’re serious about sinking more putts, this is the putter to beat.”

Bob Parsons, PXG Founder and CEO.

The Tech

The Bat Attack ZT features PXG’s signature S-hosel, a key part of its Zero Torque technology. This design positions the shaft axis just above the center of gravity (CG). As a result, the S-hosel eliminates torque that can develop during the putting stroke.

The S-hosel design keeps the putter face square to the path from start to finish, allowing golfers to hit their start lines more consistently.

The Bat Attack ZT putter features two degrees of forward press, naturally positioning golfers’ hands better at address. This setup encourages a smoother putting motion and better roll.

PXG builds the Bat Attack ZT Putter with a hollow-bodied 303 stainless steel head and injects it with proprietary S-COR polymer. The S-COR material allows PXG to move mass toward the clubhead’s perimeter. PXG claims this can significantly increase the putters overall moment of inertia (MOI).

This putter also features PXG’s ultra-thin putter face. The thin face alongside the polymer fill helps minimise vibrations and creates a refined sound on contact without sacrificing the crisp feel of a milled putter.

The front of the club face features PXG’s Pyramid Face Pattern to help with a consistent roll. This is done by using aggressive milling and pyramid density to help interact with the dimples of a golf ball. This combined with the ultra thin face helps provide a satisfying sound and feel at impact.

The sole of the putter features two weights that allow golfers and fitters to precisely adjust the overall clubhead weight and toe-heel bias.

Pricing

The Bat Attack ZT is available now for both right and left handed golfers and comes in with an RRP of £429.
