Mizuno Expands M-Craft X Putter Range

The latest model features a Z-Neck, which the brand says is 'introducing a different approach to Zero Torque performance'.

Mizuno turned heads a couple of years ago when they first unveiled their M-Craft putter range, which featured a pretty interesting interchangeable design system.

Being able to switch out the neck design, back design and weight configurations allows golfers to find a setup that is best suited to their stroke, putting style and visual preferences.

The range is designed to offer the feel of a forged blade, with the forgiveness and stability of a modern mallet, and the latest update sees the introduction of a new M-Craft X Z. This putter features a Z-Neck, which the brand says is ‘introducing a different approach to Zero Torque performance’.

The Z-neck allows the shaft axis to pass directly through the putter’s centre of gravity, helping to minimise twisting forces throughout the stroke and encouraging the face to remain square to the path.

The result of this is the Zero Torque performance that more and more golfers are looking for these days, but without losing the feel and traditional shaping that Mizuno putters tend to offer.

The new lineup also adds two new back designs, for a total of five different interchangeable options. They each offer a different look at address with their own alignment characteristics, providing golfers with more ways to frame the ball.

In total this means M-Craft X has four different neck designs, five back designs and three weight configurations.

The putters feature a one-piece forged face and neck made from 1025E mild carbon feel, producing the kind of soft feel that you’d expect from a Mizuno club.

The face is precision CNC milled, offering consistent performance right across the impact zone, for dependable roll and predictable speed control.

A precision-milled aluminium back piece works alongside the forged steel at the front, allowing weight to be positioned throughout the head to add stability and forgiveness.

Available now, the Mizuno M-Craft X Z comes with the following RRPs:

Full putter: £429

Front piece: £289

Back piece: £100

Weights: £40
