Takomo Releases First Ever Putter Line

They've introduced the new Lumo M1 and Lumo B1, two low-torque putters built with the help of Finnish putter specialist Otso Golf.

Takomo have forged a reputation for offering great quality products at excellent value for money thanks to their direct-to-consumer business model. Starting out with irons, they’ve since branched out into metals and wedges, and now they have entered the putter category for the first time.

They’ve introduced the new Lumo M1 and Lumo B1, two low-torque putters built with the help of Finnish putter specialist Otso Golf.

Takomo are looking to capitalise on the huge popularity of these CG-balanced, low-torque which are said to offer greater stability throughout the stroke.

The M1 putter is a mid-sized mallet profile, designed to add stability on off-centre strikes and promote better alignment at address.

The B1 has the same type of performance properties but comes in a wide blade profile, with the head designed to keep the face square and reduce rotation throughout the stroke.

This gives golfers the choice between the added stability of the M1, and the more traditional appearance of the B1, whilst still offering low-torque properties.

Each head is milled from a 303 stainless steel, offering a soft, consistent feel with a true roll. They come with mid-depth grooves, and satin steel and DLC black finish to maintain the sleek look that Takomo promise across their lineup.

The putters are available in 33, 34 and 35 inches, along with a KBS CT Tour single-bend shaft in chrome or black. There’s also a Takomo Edition SuperStroke 2.0 PT grip as standard.

The putters are finished with a Kvadrat Ame textile headcover, with magnetic closure and paracord attachment.

The putters are available at £199 in satin steel and £219 in DLC black, making the Lumo M1 and B1 among the lowest priced low-torque putters on the market.
