We’ve tested every significant new model and ranked them below.
Our rankings
TaylorMade
Spider Tour X Putter
£299 · Jun 2026
The most successful putter on the PGA Tour just got a fresh 2026 makeover, and it remains the standard by which every other mallet is judged. A new Torched PVD finish looks genuinely premium, the True Path alignment is as easy to use as ever, and the compact head shape doesn’t feel like a huge step for anyone transitioning from a blade.
TaylorMade
Systm2 Juno Putter
£219 · Mar 2026
A proper, no-nonsense blade at a price point that’s rare in 2026’s putter market. The precision-milled face gives instant feedback on strike, and despite its simplicity our tester found it “more forgiving than expected.” If you’ve been priced out of premium blades, this is the smartest place to look.
Mizuno
M-Craft Osaka Putter
£299 · Feb 2026
Part of Mizuno’s new City Series, the Osaka is a mid-mallet with all the visual hallmarks of a classic blade but a larger, more confidence-inspiring footprint. Forged from Pure Select carbon steel with a copper underlay, our tester compared it to “a players-distance iron – ego-boosting looks, with added forgiveness when it’s necessary.”
Mizuno
M.Craft Tokyo Putter
£299 · Feb 2026
Mizuno’s fang-style mallet from the same City Series is, by our tester’s own admission, “one of the highest-spec putters on the market” for looks – clean milling, an uncluttered grey colourway, and a compact fang shape that avoids feeling bulky. The corded grip is a lovely, old-school touch.
Wilson
Infinite ZT Putter
£229 · Mar 2026
Half the price of a LAB, Odyssey S2S Tri-Hot or PXG Allan, the Infinite ZT brings genuine zero torque tech to a much more accessible price point. Of the two models on test, The 606 was the standout, with a more muted sound and firmer, more premium-feeling face than the Lakeview.
Odyssey
Ai-Dual #7 DB Putter
£299 · Jan 2026
One of the most popular putter shapes in golf gets Odyssey’s new dual-layer Ai-Dual insert, developed with AI to improve ball-speed consistency and roll quality across the face. The face-balanced Double Bend shaft suits a straight-back-straight-through stroke, and testing showed a genuinely improved roll on off-centre strikes.
TaylorMade
Spider ZT Max Putter
£449 · Jun 2026
TaylorMade’s biggest zero torque putter yet – one of the largest footprints on the market, on a par with the LAB DF3 or Odyssey Square 2 Square Max. Four heavy steel and tungsten corner weights push mass to the extremities for maximum stability, and testing showed excellent distance control even on mishits.
Odyssey
Ai-Dual #1 Putter
£299 · Jan 2026
A classic Odyssey blade shape gets the new Ai-Dual insert treatment, and the improved forward roll was noticeable even on the toe-y strikes our tester tends to produce. It’s not the most striking-looking putter here, but the performance gains over a decade-old Odyssey Metal-X were clear in side-by-side testing.
TaylorMade
Systm2 Bandon Putter
£219 · Mar 2026
The fang-shaped mallet in TaylorMade’s new budget-friendly Systm2 range offers a confidence-inspiring shape without feeling too large at address. Roll quality impressed even on rough winter greens, though the firmer, higher-pitched sound at impact split opinion more than the Juno blade in the same range.
How we test
Every putter in this guide was tested on-course and on the practice green by George Stead and Dan Box, with particular attention paid to looks and feel at address, sound and feedback off the face, and roll quality and distance control from a range of lengths. Ratings account for looks, feel, performance and value for money. Prices shown are RRP at time of writing.

Best value pick
Systm2 Juno
Bottom line
The TaylorMade Spider Tour X is our pick for most golfers – proven on Tour, easy to align, and priced sensibly at £299. If budget is the priority, the Systm2 Juno and Bandon both undercut the market at £219 without a meaningful drop in quality, while the Spider ZT Max and Wilson Infinite ZT are the ones to try if ultimate stability is what you’re after.
