Edinburgh-based Shot Scope have announced the release of its most advanced laser rangefinder yet -the Pro L5. They may be best known for GPS watches and performance tracking, but the brand also offer a range of different lasers too, including the Pro X which Ben tested earlier this year.

Shot Scope say that their technology has helped golfers worldwide save an average of 4.1 strokes per round. Let’s take a closer look at their newest product to help with that…

The Pro L5 is the first in the brand’s line-up to feature an ultra-clear OLED display. This helps to deliver sharp, high-contrast visuals in all lighting conditions. Whether in bright sunlight or low light, golfers can clearly see their yardages for more confident decision-making.

Designed for speed and precision, the PRO L5 offers Gen 2 Rapid-fire detection, target-lock vibration, and instant yardages up to 1300 yards. Its adaptive slope technology adjusts for elevation changes and allows players to easily disable it for tournament play.
As with all Shot Scope lasers, the PRO L5 connects to the free Shot Scope app. Furthermore, it gives users access to aerial GPS maps, hazard distances, lay-up zones, and front/middle/back yardages. This makes it easier than ever to improve your course management.

The device is available in both white or black colourways. A built-in magnet allows for easy cart attachment, and a premium carry case ensures it is always within reach.
The PRO L5 is our clearest rangefinder to date, thanks to its groundbreaking ultra-clear OLED display. This enhanced clarity, combined with detailed on-course hole maps, has been incredibly well received by our retailers worldwide.
David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope.
The PRO L5 is available now, with an RRP of £229.99.
