When it comes to GPS watches, there aren’t many companies who do things better than Shot Scope. The Scottish-based brand have just released the new Shot Scope G6 GPS Watch, giving golfers more personalisation before as well as the exciting addition of full hole maps.

The latest addition to Shot Scope’s G Series, the G6 comes with a choice of 12 different coloured strap options. There are also a range of clock face designs and colour themes to choose from.
This allows golfers to tailor the look of the watch to their own style. It also makes it even more suitable for off-course use.
One of the big new features for the G6 is the introduction of full hole maps.

This was previously only available in the ‘V’ and ‘X’ ranges, and provides an overhead view of each hole. It’s designed to make it easier for golfers to plan their strategy for every hole, particularly on new courses or blind holes.

“Our newest watch is designed for golfers who want simplicity on the course with no set up required. With the addition of the hole maps and a large display, the G6 is one of the best entry-level golf GPS watches on the market.”
David Hunter, Shot Scope CEO.
The G6 comes preloaded with 36,000 golf courses worldwide, which are maintained by Shot Scope’s entirely to ensure accuracy.

The watch also provides distance to the front, middle and the back of the greens, as well as hazards, dog legs and layup points.

There’s also a built-in scorecard so golfers can keep track of their progress as they play. The large digit display offers exact distances to the centre of the green and is designed to be easy to read.
For ease of use, the watch can be used straight out of the box with no prior setup required. Golfers can head to the course, turn the watch on and start playing – a big bonus if you’ve had experience of fiddly golf watches in the past!
Price and Availability
Available now, the Shot Scope G6 GPS Watch is priced at an RRP of £179.99.
