PXG Unveil Great Value Zero Torque Putter

The PXG Hellcat ZT Putter joins the range of zero torque putters offered by PXG, along with the Bat Attack and Allan that we tested earlier this year.

The latest model has one big difference though – the price. An RRP of £239 makes this the cheapest zero torque putters on the market, even surpassing the Odyssey Square 2 Square range.

A blade-style putter, the Hellcat ZT provides all of the performance benefits of a zero torque model, but in a more traditional shape and with a price tag that makes it more accessible to a wider range of golfers.

Adding the Hellcat now means that PXG can offer a mallet, mid-mallet and blade option.

It features a streamlined design and uses MIM 303 stainless steel, eliminating the need for additional adjustable weighting.

On the face, PXG’s Pyramid Face Pattern Technology helps to enhance feel. It also provides a more consistent roll across the face.

The S-hosel positions the shaft axis above the CG, providing the toe-up balance position and helping to reduce any twisting during the stroke.

The putter has 4 degrees of loft, but plays more like 3 degrees because there is a degree of forward press built in.

The putter comes in 34 inches with a straight chrome shaft, as well as PXG’s Slant 1.5 grip. It’s available now, in both right and left handed.
