Those of you who have followed golf for a long time will probably remember when MacGregor was one of the big names in the equipment world, used by the likes of Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. The brand have made something of a comeback in the last few years, and this continues into 2025 with the new range of MT Milled Putters.

There are four new milled putters available, providing a precision forged feel, consistent distance and accuracy.
The putters are precision milled from a single piece of carbon-steel. This process is said to provide better consistency, feel and sound.

There are blade, mallet, wide blade and wing back designs on offer. These are said to suit a range of different strokes, although they do share some similarities.
10g weights in the heel and toe ensure stability at impact. A sightline on the top of the face provides a clear look at address, with enhanced alignment.

MacGregor MT Milled Putters Range
The Double Wide Blade is aimed at golfers who prefer the look of a blade, but with additional forgiveness. It’s said to have stability that is similar to a mid-mallet, with higher MOI than a standard blade.

The Wing Back is ideal for golfers with a straight back, straight through stroke. There’s a face balanced design and centre shaft, moving weights to the perimeter of the head for high MOI. This is said to produce more consistency on off-centre strikes.
The Mallet is a face balanced putter, designed for golfers with a piston-style putting stroke. The full-sized head has a horseshoe design, moving weight backwards for more stability at impact.
Rounding out the range is a traditional Blade shape, for golfers who consistently find the middle of the face. It features a plumber’s neck design and adjustable head weights, to help fine-tune feel.

The putters are offered in right and left-handed options with a choice of shaft lengths, from 33 up to 35 inches. Additional weight kits, both 5g and 20g, are also available.
Available now, They have an RRP of £159 each.
