Callaway Unveil New Quantum Ti Fairway

If you’re looking for something a little bit special at the top end of the bag, to help you both off the tee and when hitting long approaches into the green, then the new Callaway Quantum Ti Fairway might be right up your street.

Callaway say that it’s their most advanced fairway option, with a premium construction and finish that offers high performance. The brand suggest that it might perform more similarly to their new Quantum Mini Driver, but with a little more versatility like you’d usually get from a fairway.

Titanium Construction

The fairway features a full titanium construction. This creates extra discretionary weight, which is then redistributed to optimise the CG location in the head and promote higher ball speeds with consistent spin rates.

Speed Wave 2.0 and Step Sole Design

On the sole, Speed Wave 2.0 technology helps to move 70% of tungsten weight lower and further forward in the head, to help optimise both launch and energy transfer to the ball.

The new Step Sole, like in the Quantum Mini, reduces turf contact and also adds more stability around the heel. This encourages the face to stay more square, helping with more consistent strikes and control.

Next Generation Ai-Optimised Face Design

Using Artificial Intelligence allows Callaway to produce what they call ‘smarter face flex’ to give more consistent performance across the face.

Heel-Toe Weight Adjustability

Adjustable heel and toe weighting gives golfers more choice when it comes to their ball flight, as the CG can be moved around to produce more draw or fade biased shots.

OptiFit4 Hosel Adjustability

This weighting combines with the OptiFit hosel, across both lofts, to help fine-tune launch angles and shot shapes with eight different total combinations.

Release Date and Specs

The new Callaway Quantum Ti Fairway Wood is available from 16th April, at an RRP of £449. It comes with a choice of 15 or 18 degree heads, with a True Temper Denali Frost Silver shaft as standard.
