Who? 32 year old Japanese Hideki Matsuyama

What? The Sentry 2025, his eleventh PGA Tour win.

Where? Plantation Course, Kapalua Resort, Maui, Hawaii.

How? Matsuyama set a new scoring record on the PGA Tour after shooting an incredible 35 under par over four rounds in the first event of 2025 in Hawaii. Matsuyama won by three shots over Collin Morikawa, thanks to a final round of 65 with just one bogey, with Sungjae Im taking third place.
