Titleist Adds AIM To Four More Golf Balls

Whilst using AIM alignment aids, golfers were found to be 35% more accurate than those using a standard length sidestamp.

When it comes to their golf balls, Titleist have a philosophy that they will not add anything to the design unless it really aids performance. Last year’s release of Alignment Integrated Marking (AIM) models were designed to do just that, and the brand were clearly happy with the results because it’s been added to four more models for the 2026 season.

The pattern was already visible on the Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash, and there are four unique designs now available on the AVX, Tour Soft, Velocity and TruFeel models.

Last year the AVX and Tour Soft balls did feature an AIM option but this year sees the addition of new AIM 360 markings. These are printed around the circumference of the ball, while AIM performance designs sit opposite the sidestamp on the Tour Soft and Velocity models.

How Did It Come About?

Titleist say that around 65% of their players on the PGA Tour mark their ball using some kind of alignment cue. As a result, the AIM Performance design, which is currently available on the Pro V1 range, was inspired by a single straight line – the most popular addition that these golfers made.

Titleist also then extended their research to a wider range of golfers with a number of different designs and alignment features, further than just Pro V1 and Pro V1x users.

Their R&D team then came up with a device to measure how accurately golfers were in aligning their golf ball to a target. Whilst using AIM alignment aids, golfers were found to be 35% more accurate than those using a standard length sidestamp.

Titleist AVX AIM 360

The AVX features a ‘distinctive’ alignment design, gradually dissolving around the circumference of the ball and encouraging better aim and accuracy.

This ball is designed for golfers seeking long distance, low spin and a more penetrating ball flight with longer clubs, along with stopping power into greens and a soft feel.

AVX AIM 360: £44

Titleist Tour Soft AIM Performance

The Tour Soft features an extended three-line alignment, offering more precise aim and accuracy. It’s available in either blue and black or red and black.

Designed for high performance from tee to green, the Tour Soft offers a combination of distance, feel and spin at a lower price point.

Tour Soft AIM Performance: £34

Titleist Velocity AIM Performance

The Velocity offers an orange and black arrow alignment design, to improve aim and accuracy.

This ball is best recommended for golfers who place most importance on distance from tee to green over other performance attributes.

Velocity AIM Performance: £28

Titleist TruFeel AIM 360

Rounding out the range is the TruFeel, featuring a continuous red arrow design. This wraps right around the circumference of the ball.

The TruFeel is Titleist’s softest golf ball, designed to provide long distance, consistent greenside spin and an ultra-soft feel.

TruFeel AIM 360: £26.
