It’s fair to say as market leaders, Titleist always manage to grab your attention when they announce a new golf ball. In 2025 they have decided to dive deeper into alignment technology with the Titleist AVX and Tour Soft AIM 360 golf balls.

The new AIM 360 design is the latest addition to Titleist’s lineup of Alignment Integrated Marking (AIM) products, which also includes Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash Enhanced Alignment golf balls.

“AVX and Tour Soft AIM 360 models are great additions to the lineup because they give more golfers the opportunity to play an advanced alignment design, it expands our AIM offerings to AVX and Tour Soft golfers, and the 360-degree marking on the golf ball gives players a very different look than Enhanced Alignment. It’s designed for players who prefer a larger alignment feature than our other golf balls with AIM Technology.”
Frederick Waddell, Titleist’s Director of Golf Ball Product Management.

The Tech
The all-new AIM 360 AVX and Tour Soft golf balls are the first Titleist models with full 360-degree markings.
Titleist first introduced this design in 2007 with the Pro V1 side stamp. It has since evolved through many cues and subtle designs to help golfers better aim putts and tee shots.

To improve alignment, Titleist golf ball researchers ran a controlled test comparing AIM 360, Enhanced Alignment, and the Pro V1 stamp.
Golfers lined up each ball to a target. Researchers then measured left-right proximity to the hole using absolute angles.
The results showed AIM models improved alignment precision by up to 35% compared to the standard Pro V1 side-stamp.
AVX Performance – These balls suit players wanting low flight, low spin, soft feel, and strong greenside control.

The latest AVX was redesigned from core to cover to boost distance, greenside spin, control, and softness.
The Titleist AVX AIM 360 balls come in with an RRP of £42 per dozen.
Tour Soft Performance – these balls are designed for players who prioritise soft feel without sacrificing all-around performance throughout the bag.

Compared to the prior generation, the latest generation Tour Soft model features faster core technology and a reformulated cover system.
The Titleist Tour Soft AIM 360 balls come in with an RRP of £34 per dozen.
