FootJoy Add Marquis To Premiere Series

FootJoy’s Premiere Series shoes have been around for a few years now and have been an immensely popular addition to their lineup, offering traditional looks and feel but with more modern technologies to improve performance. This was in evidence when George recently reviewed the updated Packard shoe, and the brand are backing it up with an all-new Marquis model for 2026.

FootJoy say that it provides golfers both refined aesthetics and performance innovation, and has already been spotted in use by a number of PGA Tour stars in recent weeks.

Superior Traction

The Marquis features FootJoy’s new ARCTrax outsole, said to provide high levels of traction and stability on any surface, regardless of condition.

It has an anti-channelling design along with ‘flex promoting concentric circles’, optimising ground forces to keep you stable and produce better energy return.

Refined Comfort

New for the Premiere Series this year is the Ortholite tongue. This is a padded section which helps to keep the foot locked in place, as well as a collar padding to improve comfort, heel stability and underfoot cushioning.

Not only do they look the part, they’re comfortable enough to wear all day too.

Exquisite Craftsmanship

The Marquis is constructed from a hand-selected, premium full grain leather. It has pebble leather and pinking details, adding a modern twist to a traditional silhouette.

Premiere Series Madison

For female golfers looking for a shoe which offers both performance and a classic design, there is also the Premiere Series Madison in the range. It’s made from hand-selected leather, and uses the same ARCTrax outsole as the Marquis, to give golfers both comfort and traction.

The new FootJoy Premiere Series Marquis shoe is available from 1st May and priced at an RRP of £230. It’s available in both White/Chestnut, and Black/Black Oyster.

The Premiere Series Madison is priced at £180 and is offered in White/Chestnut.
