Adidas are not a brand who are afraid of making noise in the industry, and this was evidenced when they first introduced their Codechaos shoe a few years ago.

The spikeless performance shoes sit somewhere between the tour performance of the Tour360, and the more casual lifestyle benefits of the S2G, alongside the Adipower 26 shoes that I tested earlier this year.
Adidas have today announced the latest generation, the Codechaos 27, which is said to offer all-day comfort whilst also offering tour-level traction and stability.
As you’d expect from an Adidas shoe, it’s packed full of technology to help support you on the golf course:
Axislock
This is new for the Codechaos line, and is a dual-injected, one-piece technology which sits in the midsole and cradles the heel.

It’s built to offer golfers more stability, support and balance both during the swing and whilst walking, without sacrificing any comfort.
Twistskin Upper
A two-layer waterproof upper offers golfers better protection from the elements, through a lightweight and adaptive fit to leave the feet feeling fresh and protected throughout the round.
Updated Twistgrip Outsole
The Twistgrip outsole in the BOA model of the Codechaos 27 allowed Adidas to increase overall coverage by 120% compared to Codechaos 25. The new outsole sees 4 different lug shapes, designed to give golfers optimal grip in both wet and dry conditions.

In the laced model, you still get the Twistgrip outsole in the forefoot. It combines with the adapative adiwear outsole, to help golfers get traction and comfort.
Full-length Boost midsole
The Boost technology, which has been used in Adidas shoes for a good number of years now, combines with Axislock and Twistgrip to provide the comfort and cushioning they need whether walking, riding or practicing.
In addition to the laced and BOA models for men and women, the Codechaos 27 will also include a junior model inspired by the footwear.

Available from today, the laced version will be $160/€180 and the BOA will be $200/€180.
