When it comes to laser rangefinders, the first name that springs to mind is Bushnell, and with good reason. They have been the most used laser in professional golf for over a decade, with almost 97% of golfers choosing to use Bushnell products during The Open this month.
It’s one thing to reach the top spot, but the challenge is always to try and stay there. Bushnell are trying to do that with their 2025 range of lasers. They’re providing a number of different options, depending on golfer’s budgets and preferences.
Bushnell 2025 Laser Range
Bushnell A1-Slope Laser (£299)
This is Bushnell’s smallest ever laser, making it easier than ever to carry around in your pocket and access yardages quickly.

It’s compact size also makes it ideal for Juniors or Ladies as it suits those with smaller hands. Despite this, it still features a range of different technologies.
As the name suggests, you get use of Bushnell’s Slope Technology. This provides ‘play as’ distances which account for changes in elevation. Bushnell’s Pinseeker with Jolt technology provides feedback when you’ve locked on to the flag, so you can be confident in your yardages.
The laser also features a Bite magnetic skin, making it easy to attach to a trolley or buggy.

It’s water resistant, accurate within one yard up to 350 yards, and with a total range of up to 1,300 yards.
You also get a rechargeable battery, which can last more than 50 rounds on a single charge.
Bushnell Tour Hybrid Laser (£519)
This is the first device to feature both Slope compensated laser distances, and Slope compensated GPS distances.

It provides the best of both worlds, as you get the precise yardages to the pin, combined with GPS yardages to the front, middle and back, giving you all of the information that you need ahead of each approach shot.
When the slope mode is on, you also get adjusted GPS distances, The device is able to do this without the need for a phone or a signal either, you can just turn up and play.

Like the A1-Slope, you get the benefit of the Bite magnet and the Pinseeker with Jolt, with an extended 500 yard range accurate to one yard.
Bushnell Pro X3+ Link Laser (£579)
Bushnell are saying that this is their most powerful and precise laser to date, packed with all of their features to help you make better decisions on the course.

When connected to the mobile app, the laser offers wind speed and direction. Displayed with two arrows on the screen – one for direction, one for speed – it should help you with club selection, even if you’re sheltered from the elements on certain shots.
Bushnell have also added temperature and altitude to their Slope technology. This is providing the most precise compensated distances possible, for a true ‘play as’ distance.
Golfers can also add in the elevation of their home course, to make Slope with Elements distances more accurate. The Slope switch has a locking mechanism, helping to avoid you accidentally changing mid way through your round.

The Pro X3+ offers dual display Pinseeker with Jolt and an integrated magnet.
The Pro X3+ Link sees Bushnell partner with Foresight Sports to take your decision making to the next level. It is able to take your stock club yardages as provided by your launch monitor sessions, and then gives you club recommendations direct to the rangefinder’s display.

If you’re lucky enough to own or use a Foresight launch monitor, this could really help with course management. It also takes into account slope and elements on the day, for realistic club suggestions.
