Anyone who has played golf will know that Titleistโs Pro V1 and Pro V1x are the number one balls in the game, and have been for quite some time. Then it gets a little more complicated as the Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash has entered the talk to offer golfers with an even lower spinning golf ball.

In case you’re wondering who this ball is aimed at, it’s veered more towards very low handicappers or golfers with very fast swing speed and struggle to keep their spin rates down. The left dash is designed to offer a similar high flight to the Pro V1x but with even less spin.

โWe set out to create a better Left Dash four years ago, and there were points over that stretch where we got really close to the finish line before changing course. We are where we are today because of the collaboration between our R&D teams and tour players. We had prototypes that offered improved performance in some respects but, according to Left Dash players, ultimately strayed too far from Dashโs original DNA. If a product isnโt delivering what players are asking for, then we go back to the drawing board. And thatโs what we did.โ ย

Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash
The Tech
The Pro V1x Left Dash is designed for golfers who wantย maximum distance without sacrificing control. At the heart of the ball is aย high-speed, dual-core constructionย that increases ball speed while lowering long-game spin, producing a higher, more penetrating trajectory.

Sitting above the core is aย fast, low-spin casing layer, engineered to reduce driver and iron spin for more consistent distance and accuracy. This layer also enhances energy transfer, helping players get the most out of every swing.
Theย firm cast urethane elastomer coverย provides durable greenside control and a responsive feel, though it is noticeably firmer than a standard Pro V1x – giving a snappier response on full shots while keeping spin around the greens reliable for skilled players.

Finally, Titleistโs signatureย 328-tetrahedral dimple patternย ensures stable, high flight and excellent aerodynamic efficiency, keeping shots on line in all conditions. Together, these innovations make the Left Dash a versatile choice for players with faster swing speeds seeking extra carry, a high, consistent ball flight, and the precision needed for tour-level performance.
