What’s In The Bag: Wyndham Clark

Wyndham Clark battled to a wire-to-wire victory at Shinnecock to win the US Open for the second time.

Who? 32 year-old American Wyndham Clark.

What? The 2026 US Open Championship, his second major win.

Where? Shinnecock Hills, Southampton, New York.

How? Wyndham Clark battled to a wire-to-wire victory at Shinnecock to win the US Open for the second time. The American had built a six stroke lead going into the final round, but faltered early with the crowd clearly against him, bringing the likes of Sam Burns, Tom Kim and Scottie Scheffler back into the fold. Burns came closest, finishing at 3 under par despite missing makeable putts on 17 and 18, but Clark held firm with an excellent two-putt on the last to take victory.
