What’s In The Bag: Marco Penge

Who? 27 year-old Englishman Marco Penge.

What? The 2025 Danish Golf Championship, his second DP World Tour victory.

Where? Fureso Golfklub, Copenhagen, Denmark.

How? Marco Penge won for the second time this season, to give Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald a further selection headache ahead of Bethpage Black. Penge managed to overtake home favourite Rasmus Hogjaard, who started fast but faltered around the turn, handing the Englishman the lead. Hojgaard was one down on the 18th but made a stunning eagle, forcing Penge to hole a tricky four foot putt for victory.
