Odyssey Rolls Back The Years With New White Hot OG Putters

The iconic White Hot insert makes a comeback!

Ok, talk of putter inserts might not get the juices going in the same way that a brand new set of blades or a mean looking driver would, but the fact of the matter is that Odyssey really were one of the trailblazers in providing incredible feel to their putters.

It probably shouldn’t come as a great surprise, then, that the brand has decided to bring the iconic White Hot insert back for their new range of putters for 2021, White Hot OG.

With these putters, you should get the same White Hot formulation, feel, sound and performance as in Odyssey putters from years gone by thanks to the two-part urethane insert that is just as sought-after on golf’s professional tours as it is among amateur golfers.

A rich silver PVD combines with fine milling on the putter surfaces to give the new White Hot range a little more premium look than usual, whilst the sole plate features a more classical design with the addition of weighting strategically placed to enhance performance depending on the putter shape.

The White Hot OG putters are available with a premium stepless steel shaft, or you can choose to add Odyssey’s Stroke Lab technology which comes in a new ‘candy apple red’ colourway. The putters come fitted with a grey DFX Rubber Grip for a classic look and feel, but you can also choose to use an oversized Odyssey grip which is very similar to a Stroke Lab grip.
