Inspiration for new products can come from all sorts of different places. In the case of Odyssey, they’ve looked close to home, with their own Callaway golf balls.

Odyssey Stroke Lab Triple Track Putters

Odyssey have used the Triple Track Technology first seen in the ERC Soft Golf Ball as the basis of their latest putter release, featuring three prominent lines at the centre of the putter head.

These lines use Vernier Hyper Acuity, which is the same technology used by planes to land on aircraft carriers, as it improves alignment for better putting accuracy. Now all you have to do is start the ball on the correct line…

The Triple Track Putters are combined with Odyssey’s multi-material Stroke Lab shaft, which is counterbalanced to help improve the tempo and consistency of your putting stroke. Since its introduction this technology has made its way into the bags of plenty of tour players, and has won tournaments and majors all over the world. Not a bad endorsement really!

On the putter face, you get the same Microhinge Star Insert seen in the Stroke Lab Black Putters we reviewed last year.

It retains the same kind of true-roll characteristics as a traditional Microhinge Insert, but with a slightly firmer feel that we found was actually useful in improving long-range putting during our testing.

There are five putter models available in the new Stroke Lab Triple Track collection: the 2-Ball, 2-Ball, Marxman, Ten and Double Wide, with the option of Flow neck varieties too.

The Marxman and Double Wide are priced at 239, whilst the rest of the range are 269. All five putters will be available from 23rd January.

Have you had chance to try Triple Track Technology? What are your thoughts on it? As always, we’d love to hear your opinions.
