Callaway’s Odyssey putters are #1 across major Tours worldwide and one of its flagship lines, O-Works, has been strengthened for 2018 with an extensive range of new head shapes.
Following on from the original O-Works and the O-Works Red Odyssey has developed a new 12-model O-Works Black line as well as adding six new models to the Red putter range.
Both putters the now familiar Microhinge Face Insert Technology that Odyssey says provides incredible gains in topspin and roll at impact regardless of your stroke. The stainless steel Microhinge plate is co-molded into a Thermoplastic Elastomer Feel Layer, with the hinge geometry and urethane working together to impact more roll on the ball at impact.
Both the 2018 Black and Red ranges feature new ‘toe-down’ O-Works Mallets that naturally rotate like a blade during the putting stroke and are perfect for players who love the look of mallets but have struggled for consistency with face-balanced models.
‘Toe-down’ designs help to address this by retaining a similar stroke path to bladed models whilst incorporating the forgiveness and alignment associated with mallet putters. Both line-ups also include face-balanced models, in both putter and blade, for golfers who have have a more straight-back/straight forward pendulum putting stroke.
The new O-Works Black range was inspired from Tour Feedback with some players preferring the look at address.

When a number of our Staffers told us that they wanted an all-black putter with our Microhinge insert we listened, and then we made an unbelievable putter.
