Callaway Introduce New Elyte Irons

The brand say that their new Elyte irons are designed to feature exceptional ball speeds and forgiveness for every type of golfer, and there are four different models available - the standard Elyte, Elyte X, Elyte HL and Elyte Max Fast.

Callaway are claiming that the ‘future of performance’ comes in the form of the new Elyte range for 2025, which features drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons.

The brand say that their new Elyte irons are designed to feature exceptional ball speeds and forgiveness for every type of golfer, and there are four different models available – the standard Elyte, Elyte X, Elyte HL and Elyte Max Fast.

As you’d expect from Callaway, there are a number of new bits of technology to add to a new look, which we think offers a pretty big upgrade in terms of cosmetics compared to Callaway’s Paradym Ai Smoke irons.

The Elyte irons feature a new Speed Frame construction, using new design elements which allow for more urethane microspheres to be added, improving the sound and feel as well as encouraging faster ball speeds.

Like the Elyte driver range, the irons feature a new Ai10x Face which offers ten times as many control points as the previous Ai Smart Face, which is said to produce faster ball speeds, tighter dispersion and better launch across the face.

A new tri-sole design has three different sections which are built to improve turf interaction. A sharper leading edge and trailing edge chamfer making entry and exit easier, whilst the mid-section offers improved forgiveness for better results regardless of the lie.

The standard Elyte model is built for ‘total performance’ and is best suited to golfers looking for distance, consistency and control.

The Elyte X model features a larger profile and cavity-back construction, for maximum forgiveness. There’s an increased offset, sole width and topline thickness, making the irons perfect for golfers who want distance, forgiveness and easy launch.

The Elyte HL is the high launch model, suited to golfers who can benefit from a higher launch. The lofts are a little weaker than the standard or X models, with an AI face optimisation designed to increase launch angle for maximised carry distance and improved stopping power.

The Elyte Max Fast is aimed at golfers with slower swing speeds, featuring an ultra-lightweight design and an Ai face optimised for faster ball speeds. It’s designed to increase clubhead speed to give golfers more carry distance and better stopping power into the greens.

Available at retail from 7th February, the new Elyte irons are available at an RRP of £167 per iron for steel shafts, and £175 per iron for graphite shafts.
