Designed in collaboration with PGA Tour star Rickie Fowler, the new Puma Ignite Proadapt Delta shoe is said to combine stability, precise fit, traction and extreme comfort in one sleek package to ensure that you can play your best each time you tee it up.
The Proadapt Delta also debuts Puma’s new Adapt Foam, which delivers stable cushioning with high energy return and excellent ground feel.
On the shoe’s outsole, Dual-Durometer Tornado Cleats are built to provide excellent traction, as well as torsional stability delivered thanks to the Proadapt TPU outsole. These combine to give you plenty of balance and solid, stable foundation throughout your swing.
The shoe features a premium, full-grain leather upper design as preferred by Rickie Fowler, and you’ll see Fowler using these shoes throughout the course of the 2021 season.
The key technologies within the Proadapt Delta include:

Adapt Foam – this new proprietary foam features a mix of EVA cushioning with Styrene, an ‘impact-resistant’ foam that provides both dimensional stability and stable cushioning. These two materials combine to deliver high energy return and ground feel.

Atlantis Leather Upper – a premium, full-grain leather upper delivers soft feel, enhanced quality and a sophisticated finish.

Adaptive Fit System – this dual-layer, decoupled collar design is made from the same full-grain leather as the upper, combined with a moulded comfort collar to give you the comfort of a running shoe but with the look of a high-end leather shoe.

Adapt-Wrap Tongue – a one-piece tongue which wraps around the instep of the foot from the medial side, providing added medial support.

Pro-Fit Insole – the ultra-soft, supportive PU insole provides an excellent fit, performance and long-lasting comfort.

Proadapt Outsole – a full-length TPU outsole provides ultimate traction and support throughout the golf swing, while flex-grooves in key areas improve your range of movement and provide unrivaled comfort for walking a full round out on the course.
- Dual-Durometer Tornado Cleat – a ‘dual talon, low-profile’ cleat adds to the traction levels and has added abrasion resistance in order to last longer, whilst also being easy to change out thanks to the Fast Twist 3.0 system.
The Puma Ignite Proadapt Delta shoes are available form March 30th in three different colourways – Puma White, Puma White/Gray Violet and Black/Quiet Shade – and they are priced at �140.
