Designed to give golfers the edge in the wettest of the winter conditions the Lunar Bandon 3 is a stylish and versatile shoe that also has a surprise up it’s sleeve when the sun comes out.

Constructed from a weatherproof upper built on a six spiked outsole for increased traction the boot stands out with a seam-sealed shroud that encases the shoe to lock out moisture as well as synthetic layer weatherproof toe cap.

Inside is a camouflage pattern that can be exposed in the dry by unzipping the shoe covering shroud, letting the foot breathe and giving a greater range of motion through the swing.

As well as full weather protection the Bandon 3 features ull-length lightweight Lunarlon for cushioning and a comfortable padded lining on the interior to support the ankle.

James Arizumi, Nike Golf’s Design Director of Footwear, explains the concept behind the shoe:

This shoe was designed for the toughest and most dedicated golfers who play in unpredictable conditions. With that in mind, I wanted to focus on the interior of the shoe and design it to be insanely comfortable even in the harshest weather, like sweatpants for your feet on a cold and rainy day. Simply put, the Bandon 3 was designed so that the exterior upper takes care of the weather while the interior is built to take care of your feet.

Traction and stability are provided by using the same outsole as found in the Nike Lunar Command golf shoe with six spikes providing the traction needed in slippery conditions while a forefoot TPU plate provides stability during the swing.
