Ping Prodi G Junior Clubs Adjust As You Grow

'Get golf growing' programme gives free adjustment for juniors.

One of the biggest issues when purchasing junior golf clubs is how long they will fit your child. They can be sized up perfectly for a set at the start of the season, but by the end your child may have grown too tall to use them, which can have a detrimental effect on their swing if they are using unsuitable equipment and also there is the extra cost to buy a new set

Pings Get Golf Growing program for their new Prodi G range for junior golfers addresses this issue. If you buy 5 or more Prodi G clubs in one transaction then Ping will offer a one-time, free club adjustment service to re-shaft, lengthen, re-weight or re-grip the Prodi G clubs to keep juniors fitted properly as they grow.

The Prodi G range aims to bridge the gap between full-size golf clubs and traditional junior clubs and are aimed at golfers aged between 7 and 13.

Each club comes with a graphite shaft for increased clubhead speed and launch and is available in regular or stiff flex to suit the golfer.

The Prodi G set comes in bright, appealing colours, with the styling of many of the clubs directly reflecting current Ping releases in the adult market to provide closer likeness with the full-size clubs.

The Prodi G driver comes in a 15 loft and features Pings Dragonfly and Turbulator technology on the crown, mirroring the G400 driver and increasing both forgiveness through a lower centre of gravity, and aerodynamics to promote higher clubhead speed.

The 460cc titanium head will get junior golfers accustomed to the shape and size of a driver, and all of this combines to create a club which Ping say is 15 yards longer and has an MOI of 50% more than the leading junior driver.

The Prodi G fairway wood is available in 22 and also features Turbulators on the crown with a lightweight, easy to square profile to create a club that is forgiving and playable. The hybrid is 27 and like the fairway has a body and face made of 17-4 stainless steel.

The Prodi G irons are available from 6 iron to Pitching Wedge and feature a CTP insert with a classic cavity-back look to ensure good performance as well as forgiveness for the improving young golfer.

The wedges are styled almost identically to the Glide family range and come in 52 and 56 to encourage younger players to vary their short game shots and harness their creativity around the greens.

The Prodi G Voss putter is a sleek blade-style which comes complete with Pings trademark PP58 grip and is 29.5 inches long as standard. The Voss is 10% lighter than the standard putter at 320g and the blade style was specifically chosen in order to teach good putting fundamentals from an early age.

Finally, you can carry them all in a Prodi G Hoofer Carry bag, available in 2 different finishes dependent on size and sold separately from the clubs. Both bags come with aluminium stands and adjustable dual straps, and feature 4 pockets and 4 dividers for clubs for an RRP of 120.

The smaller bag for those golfers who are under 4 foot 6 inches/140cm comes in charcoal with black with electric green. The larger bag for those taller than this is black and electric green.
