Wilson Expands On Dynapower Iron Line Up In 2025

Wilson reintroduced the iconic Dynapower range back in 2023 after more than 50 years since its original release.

This year Wilson’s iron range has received another update with the unveiling of two new game improvement irons. Both the standard Dynapower and Plus models are packed with advanced technology aimed at helping golfers become much more consistent.

“We’ve taken the design process from the successful Dynapower family since it relaunched two
years ago and added even more innovation to create two brand new irons for the game improvement and game improvement plus categories. The game-enhancing technologies incorporated throughout add up to deliver greater ball speed, more forgiveness and control to make the game more enjoyable.”

Jon Pergande, Director of Wilson Golf Club Innovation.

Dynapower Irons

Wilson chose to divide the game improvement category into two parts to suit more player types. Each iron has its own unique performance needs.

The standard Dynapower iron caters to better ball striker’s with less offset, thinner topline and narrow sole.

While the more forgiving Max iron is a lot more inviting for golfers to hit consistently, with its larger head size and wider sole.

The Tech

Wilson’s standard Dynapower iron has been designed with a number of interesting features.

Wilson claim its energy transfer chassis alongside its weight distribution, helps to stabilise the club face at impact making it less likely to twist off target.

The Dynapower Max iron takes advantage of the topology weight optimisation found in their metalwoods to increase ball speeds off the club face.

This alongside an open heel design helps provide a greater reaction off the face when struck out of the heel.
