Titleist Introduce Three GT Hybrids

Last year Georgina tested Titleist’s GT3 driver, and it quickly became one of her favourite clubs of 2024. For 2025 the range is expanding, and the latest update sees three new Titleist GT Hybrids introduced.

The GT1, GT2 and GT3 hybrids use much of the same technologies as the GT drivers and fairways. Each has been uniquely designed to cater to a different player profile, so there should be something for everyone.

The Tech

High-MOI designs offer more stability than in previous generations.

The GT1 hybrid has dual CG positions, with forward-aft weight adjustability. The models have 5% higher MOI than the TSR1 hybrids, when the 11 gram weight is in the stock position.

This weight can also be flipped to the front to lower and launch and spin, whilst still retaining high MOI properties.

The GT2 hybrids feature the highest total MOI in the lineup, 10% higher than TSR2. The GT3 hybrids have a 15% increase from TSR3, despite being 6% smaller in size. Titleist say that this produces the most stable and forgiving hybrid range they have created.

For each of the hybrids, the CG position is controlled by the placement of 11 gram and 5 gram weights. In the GT1 the 11 gram weight is towards the back, with the 5 gram weight at the front as standard.

The GT2 and GT3 have a heel-toe weighting system, with 11 grams in the heel as standard. Flipping the weights can help to encourage a fade-biased flight. This weighting can also align the CG with a player’s typical strike location. This encourages better ball speeds along with higher launch, lower spin and a straighter flight.

Each of the models feature refinements to the shape, to improve performance. The GT1 has a longer face from heel to toe, keeping up ball speeds on off-centre strikes and adding forgiveness.

The GT2 comes via feedback from tour players, with a sleeker profile than the TSR2. It has a flatter leading edge which sits flush to the turf, providing a similar look to the GT fairways.

Finally, the GT3 is smaller than the TSR3. Like the GT2 it has a flatter leading edge, making it easier to strike from the turf and improving performance on bottom strikes.

Titleist GT1 Hybrids

The highest launching model in the lineup. The GT1 provides high forgiveness and playability for golfers who want a higher flight with mid-spin.

It has a lightweight construction, designed to benefit golfers with moderate swing speeds. There’s also a confidence inspiring profile at address.

Titleist GT2 Hybrids

GT2 features the highest total MOI across the lineup, offering stability and forgiveness. It promotes a high ball flight with a sleeker profile and a flatter sole, which sits flush to the turf.

There’s heel-toe CG adjustability, allowing the weight to be placed optimally to fine tune ball flight.

Titleist GT3 Hybrid

Finally, the GT3 offers both workability and forgiveness, promoting a mid-high ball flight. It features a smaller iron-like profile, although perimeter weight still keeps MOI high.

It has the same heel-toe CG adjustability as the GT2, giving fitters and golfers extra chance to fine-tune ball flight.

The Titleist GT Hybrids are available from 21st February, at an SRP of £299.
