TaylorMade Update Tour Response Golf Balls

Over the last few years one of the big new developments in the golf ball market has been the introduction of visual technology. TaylorMade have been at the heart of that, and they are kicking things up a notch this year with the new TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls for 2025.

The ball features new technologies and even brighter designs than the previous generation. It is said to provide tour-level performance with a soft feel, with a pretty reasonable price tag.

Hi-Vis 360° ClearPath Alignment

This year, the balls are available in brighter, easier to align colours. A 22mm 360° ClearPath alignment stripe wraps around the centre of the ball.

This is designed to help golfers aim putts better, faster and more consistently, as well as providing feedback on the quality of the roll.

A new neon digital ink makes the stripe even more vibrant than the previous model, for a unique look out on the course.

Speed Wrapped Core

The Tour Response balls now feature the same Speed Wrapped Core as the TP5 and TP5x balls.

This material reduces the density of the core. This dampens the sounds and produces a faster overall construction, for better ball speed and distance.

SpeedMantle

Surrounding the call is a SpeedMantle with a high-flex material. This allows the ball to interact more with the face. TaylorMade say that, as a result, ball speed is enhanced, along with a softer feel.

The three-piece design provides an overall package. It helps golfers hit the ball further, while also offering spin, feel and control on shorter shots.

Tour-Level Spin and Control

The balls feature a 100% urethane cover, adding spin and greenside control compared to ionomer. This material allows for wedge grooves to grip the ball better, whilst staying durable.

Enhanced Aerodynamics

Like the TP5 and TP5x, the new Tour Response balls feature TaylorMade’s Tour Flight Dimple Pattern. This has been used since 2021 and promotes shots that are fast from the face, and carry further with more stability in the wind.

For those golfers who want something a little more traditional, the Tour Response is still available in standard white or yellow colourways. The Tour Response Stripe balls are available in neon orange, pink, yellow blue and navy colourways.

The TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls are available now. They have an RRP of £37.99 per dozen for the standard ball, and £39.99 for Tour Response Stripe.
