What? The 2025 US Open, his first major championship.

Where? Oakmont Country Club, Pennsylvania 

How? After shooting a front nine of 40, Spaun managed to rally back with a heroic back nine 32 to win a war of attrition at Oakmont and his first major championship. He could’ve won with two putts at the 18th green, but needed just the one. Holing a putt for the ages from 64 feet, the longest putt holed on the course all day!
J.J. Spaun finished one-under, the only golfer to finish under par after 72 holes. Two shots ahead of Robert MacIntyre at one-over, and three shots ahead of Viktor Hovland.
