Ecco Add Casual Hybrid To Range

Casual Hybrid comes in two styles to extend popular range.

Ecco has led the way in the development of hybrid golf shoes, steadfast in the belief that this modern spikeless form of the golf shoe is the future.

Their latest range is the Casual Hybrid, seen as a special edition on the feet of Fred Couples at the Masters, that come in both a sneaker version for men and also a more traditional Brogue style for both men and women.

Like all of the Ecco Hybrid range the Casual is built upon the E-DTS outsole, which stands for Ecco Dynamic Traction System, approximately 100 moulded traction bars that have been designed to provide 800 traction angles for each shoe, thereby providing excellent grip.

The traction bars are constructed from the hard wearing and durable TPU to protect against wear, essential in a shoe to be worn on and off the course.

The Casual Hybrid’s are highly water repellent thanks to Ecco’s Hydromax treatment. Hydromax prevents the leather from hardening after repeated wetting and drying, meaning it remains strong and durable but does not lose the softness and breath-ability you notice straight out of the box.

Comfort is something that is important to Ecco and with the Casual Hybrid they have included a special leather inlay sole that can be removed if players need extra width in the shoe without impacting on the comfort of the foot.

They are manufactured, like all Ecco golf shoes, using a Direct-injection process that provides an anatomical and flexible fit. It works by injecting a shock absorbent material directly into the mould allowing the sole and the upper to be bonded directly together without the need for any glue or stitching.

Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at Ecco, reiterates Ecco’s commitment to the Hybrid shoe:

The pioneering spirit that led us to introduce the first hybrid footwear in golf continues to drive our innovations season after season. These exciting new shoes pair Tour-proven technologies with the most attractive designs and richest materials.

Ecco has introduced new colours for the Casual Hybrid in for Spring / Summer 2016.

The Sneaker Casual Hybrid has an RRP or 100 whilst the Brogue/Wingtip option has an RRP of 110.
