What? The 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, his second PGA Tour victory.

Where? Renaissance Golf Club, North Berwick, Scotland.

How? American Chris Gotterup held off the challenge of Rory McIlroy to win his second PGA Tour title and the biggest victory of his career in Scotland. He began the final day tied for the lead and dropped out of the lead with an opening bogey, but recovered on the front nine with three birdies. McIlroy could only close with 10 pars to finish his round, whilst Gotterup made two late birdies.
