adidas Golf are going back in time with the release of the EQT Collection of footwear and apparel, developed as a celebration of the 30 year anniversary of their first Equipment range which featured the iconic 'Badge of Sport' logo.
The collection is said to combine progressive and sport-specific styling with the original Equipment branding that adidas fans will instantly recognise, as well as further establishing the brand's place as one of golf's most forward thinking names.
It continues the EQT mission to include "everything that is essential, nothing that is not" by merging together high-performance fabrics with sustainable Primegreen materials, which align with adidas' golf to help end plastic waste.
The EQT apparel, which is available for both men and women, is an ultra-modern look with a combination of fabrics which are perfectly designed for use during a round of golf.
The Two-Tone Mesh Polo is an updated take on a print polo with more freedom of movement, whilst the EQT Crew has a unique mock collar with adidas branding, making sure that you'll stand out every time you tee it up.
For women, there is a sleeveless Equipment Polo which features a zipped front, which the brand say is for maximum style and comfort.
The men's Equipment Pique Zipper Polo, 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt and women's Equipment Short Sleeve Polo completes the collection and follows the EQT's design principle - the way a product looks is determined by what it does.
The EQT and EQT SPKL footwear drwas inspiration from the original Equipment shoes in terms of both style and functionality, combining adidas' highly-rated Boost technology for comfort, with the sustainable Primegreen upper.
Both the spiked and spikeless options allow golfers the opportunity to benefit from locked-in stability and traction so that you have the confidence to commit to every shot.
Shaun Madigan, global apparel director at adidas Golf, commented:
The EQT Collection gave us the opportunity to be sportier and further enhance our branding in specific areas of our product range, ultimately spicing up our product offerings. The intoruction of the Badge of Sport logo back in the early nineties was a statement from the brand, showing which equipment was sport focused and made purely for the athlete.
The EQT Collection will be available in the UK from January 11th.
