Who? 35 year-old Canadian Nick Taylor.
What? The 2023 RBC Canadian Open, his third PGA Tour victory.
Where? Oakdale Golf & Country Club, Toronto, Ontario.
How? Taylor became the first Canadian to win their national Open since 1954 after he holed a stunning 72 foot eagle putt on the fourth playoff hole, to claim a dramatic victory over Tommy Fleetwood and send the home crowd wild, after firing a final round of 66 to play his way into the playoff. Englishman Fleetwood could not match the feat, settling for his fifth runner-up finish on the PGA Tour.
