FootJoy aren't just known for shoes and gloves - they are also one of the biggest names in the golf apparel world with a stable of Tour players including Webb Simpson, Will Zalatoris and Rafa Cabrera Bello.
Not only that, their outerwear range has been consistently gaining popularity over the last few years, providing a real challenge to the likes of Galvin Green and Sunderland.
The new HydroSeries range continues FootJoy's ethos to Make Every Day Playable with three new jackets which provide protection from the elements all year round.
FootJoy HydroTour Jacket
Leading the way for the new range is the HydroTour, designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions as storm-proof jacket which features the innovative new DrySeal technology.
The DrySeal collar is a double collar system which features a cinch cord on the inner layer to help keep the rain out when you bend down to address the golf ball, along with drainage holes on the outer layer, avoiding water being able to run down the back of your neck.
The jacket features a 3-panel construction with fewer seams and a premium, multi-directional stretch fabric which is designed to allow a full range of motion during the golf swing, with the added bonus of being easier to pack away compactly.
The HydroTour performs best in cool, wet conditions and boasts a waterproof rating above 20,000mm of water column pressure, making it FootJoy's most complete jacket.
It is available at an SRP of £225 in two different colourways - black with charcoal and lime, and navy with black and bright red - and comes with a three-year waterproof warranty.
FootJoy HydroLite Jacket
The HydroLite is said to be the perfect lightweight waterproof rain jacket, with added breathability and stretch to the fabric which makes this a great all-rounder.
Better suited to wet weather in warmer conditions, the jacket has a 100% waterproof and breathable construction which ensures both comfort and total protection.
The 2.5 layer fabric folds away to a very compact size for easy storage in the golf bag, providing a trusted option in changeable conditions that you can have with you all of the time. If you play golf in the UK, you'll know that it can rain at just about any point...
The HydroLite is priced at £170 and available in five different colourways: a tonal marble effect print in black and navy, Chevron pattern design in black with grey and lime, royal with black and silver and navy with bright red and white.
FootJoy HydroKnit Jacket
The versatile HydroKnit Jacket is now in it's second generation after a very promising start back in 2019, when our editor George was very impressed with it's waterproof ability and usability.
There's a four-way stretch fabric and 30% lighter construction so that this jacket provides an ideal combination of the wearability of a midlayer with the performance of a rain jacket.
The HydroKnit comes with two new pockets and the addition of a water-repellant DWR finish throughout, providing plenty of comfort whilst still giving you all of the protection that you need from the elements.
The half-zip is available at an SRP of £150 in three different colourways: black and grey with lime, navy and denim, charcoal with bright red and white.
FootJoy HydroSeries Women's Range
HLV2 Jacket
The women's HLV2 jacket provides golfers with 100% waterproof, lightweight protection in even the wettest of conditions.
It has a 2.5 layer bonded construction which reduces weight and improves mobility, supporting comfort and performance on the golf course.
It is available in black with silver, navy with silver and heather grey with white at an SRP of £160 and is complemented by navy and black HLV2 trousers.
HydroKnit Jacket
The full-zip HydroKnit jacket combines midlayer comfort with total outerwear protection.
It has a lightweight, breathable construction which provides year round versatility and is the perfect defence to winter elements.
It also comes with an interior waist cinch cord for adjustability as well as front and back princess seams for a flattering look and fit.
The HydroKnit is available in navy with aquamarine and grey with hot pink colourways at an SRP of £200.
