Wilson Staff recently launched the FG Tour F5 range of woods and irons and has now added a new wedge, the FG Tour PMP, to the range.
PMP stands for Precision Milled Performance and the wedges feature a combination of new maximum volume HM grooves, that give spin control of full shots, with laser etched Micro Spin Lines for increased spin and control on half shots and chips. Wilson says the milling has also produced a perfectly flat face for the wedges giving the clubs greater consistency.
The wedges have been designed with input from Wilson Advisor Staff members like Kevin Streelman and Brendan Steele whose experience and insight has greatly helped the creation of a Tour quality wedge.
The FG Tour PMP come in the options of three sole designs – Traditional, Tour Grind and Wide – which in combination with numerous loft, lie and bounce options means Wilson can offer the wedges in 95 combinations through custom fitting to ensure the wedges perfectly match players games.
Wilson has fitted the FG Tour PMP wedge with a KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 wedge shaft that features an active tip section to give a higher ball flight and more spin for added stopping power and accuracy into the greens.
A further feature to help your game are the imprinted dots on the Lamkin Performance Plus 3Gen grip that guides players where to place the hands for different length shots.
The Wilson Staff FG Tour PMP wedges are available in either a Gun Blue PVD or a chrome Tour Frosted finish.
