How? After 163 career starts and 30 top-five finishes, Tommy finally broke through to win the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup! Fleetwood peaked at the right time. He was the best player over the past three weeks other than Scottie Scheffler.
Tommy began the final round tied for the lead but quickly pulled away, holding a three-shot advantage by the turn. A bogey at the 10th offered Patrick Cantlay a glimmer of hope, but Tommy hit back with birdies at 12 and 13 to restore his cushion. From there, the closing stretch became far more comfortable, and he signed off with a final-round 68 for an 18-under-par total.
