How? Casey chased down overnight leaders Robert Macintyre and Bernd Ritthammer before stretching ahead with two late birdies in the last three holes, including from long-range on the par-5 16th.
Following the victory, Casey said:
I get emotional for every victory. But this year has been so fantastic. This is an incredibly prestigious trophy. It has a lot of history on the European Tour, and I’m over the moon. I am so happy to be the Porsche European Open champion.
