What’s In The Bag: Ludvig Aberg

Who? 25 year-old Swede Ludvig Aberg.

What? The 2025 Genesis Invitational, his second PGA Tour win.

Where? South Course, Torrey Pines, San Diego.

How? Aberg shot a stunning back nine of 32 to win for the first time in over a year on a thrilling final day at Torrey Pines. With Patrick Rodgers and Denny McCarthy struggling in the final group, Maverick McNealy was the first to mount a charge. The American was 8 under through 11 holes, setting the clubhouse lead on 11 under after a closing 64. Aberg found three consecutive birdies from the 13th on the back nine, before getting up and down for birdie from the back of the 18th green to complete the victory.
