Who? 39 year-old Frenchman Julien Guerrier.
What? The 2024 Andalucia Masters, his first DP World Tour win.
Where? Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, San Roque, Andalucía, Spain.
How?Julien Guerrier finally became a DP World Tour winner for the first time after coming out on top of a record-equalling nine-hole playoff against Jorge Campillo in Spain. The Frenchman went into the final round tied for the lead and a round of 70 was enough for a playoff when Campillo bogeyed two of his last four holes. Both players then made pars on each of the first eight playoff holes, before Campillo failed to get up and down from a greenside bunker to give Guerrier the victory.
