How? Stenson finished one stroke ahead of defending champion Jon Rahm to record his first victory since late 2017, thanks to a final-round 66 which included a tap-in eagle and a 30 foot par save on the back nine.
Following the victory, Stenson said:
It’s been a very average season, but it finished on a high. I haven’t played to more than 75% of my capacity in the last couple of years.
