Who? 35 year-old American Harris English.
What? The 2025 Farmers Insurance Open, his fifth PGA tour win.
Where? Torrey Pines South Course, San Diego, California.
How? After battling blustery conditions at Torrey Pines, English managed to get over the line by one shot over Sam Stevens with a final-round 73.
English put his recent success partly down to switching up his grips early on in the week with a new model of Golf Pride’s MCC Align grips (model not revealed yet). The grips are said to feature their well known align technology, which has a raised ridge on the underside of the grip. Which helps players maintain consistent hand placement and improve their overall clubface awareness.
