Galvin Green Update The Lab Collection For AW26

Galvin Green have announced the second instalment of The Lab for AW26. The collection features new colour combinations as well as advanced technical fabrics and contemporary silhouettes, designed to give you better protection from the elements.

The second collection follows the initial launch of The Lab earlier this year, and the brand say that it offers an ‘experimental approach’ to design and performance. Galvin Green are no strangers to this kind of innovation, being the brand that really brought Gore-Tex and high level waterproof technologies to the golf market more than 30 years ago.

The range is led by a Storm Blue colourway, accented by Navy and White. It features new precision-placed prints, angular contrast and technical fabrics that Galvin say are designed to ‘move, shield and adapt’ on the golf course.

Headlining the new range are two different jackets – the Alonzo and Leandro.

These are available in Storm Blue/Navy/White and Storm Blue/Navy respectively. They combine looks with performance driven fabric technology, designed to tackle even the worst weather conditions.

The Alonzo is a high-tech rain jacket, featuring Pertex Shield Stretch to offer more stretch than any other Galvin rain jacket to date.

There are water-repellent zippers on the front and pockets, as well as a drawstring collar, to help guard from the elements. A cross print across the sleeves adds a modern, high-tech look.

The Leandro has a different makeup, using Galvin Green’s Interface-1 fabric, tightly woven to offer wind protection without the need for a membrane layer.

As a result, it’s said to be more breathable, and can still offer wind and water resistance in light showers. A back air vent helps to increase ventilation, with the cross print on the sleeve adding to the modern design.

This new technology extends across the range into the different clothing layers, not just the outerwear, with two all-new items.

The Daffy is a half-zip mid layer, available in Navy/Storm Blue, designed to combine modern styling with lightweight performance.

It comes with a soft, stretchy Insula fabric which adds warmth without adding bulk. There’s also a stand-up collar, V-shaped cut lines and a graphic sleeve detailing.

Completing the new range is the Marshall polo shirt, available in Storm Blue/Navy/White and a reverse White/Navy/Storm Blue colour combinations.

It has a ‘sleek button placket’ with contrast piping on the neck and sporty side panels. The construction delivers a lightweight, performance fit with an athletic look.

If you’re looking for some new golf clothing as we head towards the cooler (and usually wetter) winter months, Galvin Green’s The Lab franchise could be exactly what you’re looking for.
