How? Rising star Potgieter survived a three man playoff to win his first PGA Tour title on a dramatic final day in Detroit. After making a number of switches to his equipment over the past couple of weeks, Potgieter ranked first in driving distance for the week and top ten in both GIR and Strokes Gained Approach.
The South African made his way into a playoff with Chris Kirk and Max Greyserman, finally beating Greyserman on the fifth extra hole with a birdie putt to claim his first title.
