In the final round at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, Scheffler fired an 8-under 63, finishing eight strokes ahead of runner-up Erik van Rooyen. The win marked his 14th PGA Tour title and his first of the 2025 season.
Scheffler, holding his infant son, became emotional as he reflected on childhood memories of attending the tournament and achieving a lifelong dream. This victory was especially meaningful, as it took place in his hometown at the event where he made his professional debut 11 years ago.
