When Srixon releases a new set of irons, it’s hard not to stop and admire them. The brand is known worldwide for combining stunning aesthetics with exceptional performance. The all new ZXi irons are set to replace their previous ZX range.
Srixon claim that their i-Forged technology is groundbreaking; producing better feel, improved distance and forgiveness. Making it a very exciting product for 2025.

Srixon has had an extremely successful start to 2025 with Sepp Straka and Hideki Matsuyama winning on the PGA Tour. Straka (pictured below) enjoyed his third victory on tour hitting 83% of greens in regulation with a combination of the ZXi5 and ZXi7 Irons.

“The i-Forging process gave us the unique ability to select which steels would be best suited for each ZXi Iron, promoting a better hitting feel and overall performance. On the ZXi7 Players Iron, we used a softer steel in S15C. It’s the softest steel we’ve ever had in a forged Srixon Iron. Each new material upgrade serves a specific purpose to balance and strengthen each Iron and give players immediate feedback at contact.”
Joe Miller, Srixon Europe Product Manager.
Srixon ZXi Irons
The ZXi range offers 4 different options to follow on from the original ZX range. Each iron has different advantages to suit certain golfers.
Each iron features Srixon’s latest condensed forging method which allows them to use softer materials into the building process. They are carefully tempered inside of a long oven to optimise strength and temperature for Srixon’s softest treatment yet.

The brand claim that this advanced forging process is 14% softer without compromising durability.
The Tech
The Srixon ZXi-7 iron is aimed at golfers who value tour preferred looks and see themselves as good ball strikers. This year Srixon have added their PureFrame technology to help deliver a more stable strike with less vibration (9.3% reduction to be precise) in the hands. They’ve done this by forging it directly behind the sweet spot, and results in a remarkably stable feel at impact.

In the ZXi5, ZXi4, and ZXiU Irons, Srixon’s MainFrame technology is back for a third time. Taking advantage of grooves that vary in thickness to help maximise ball speed for each specific iron.

All sets feature progressive grooves, The 3i-7i have much wider grooves, while the 8i-PW have deeper and closely nit together grooves to ensure consistent spin across the set.

Meanwhile, to maximise softness, each ZXi Iron is carefully tempered inside of a long oven to optimise strength and temperature for Srixon’s softest treatment yet.
Srixon ZXi Combo Options
Just like in past generations, every ZXi iron is designed with combination sets in mind. Meaning that all their models can easily be blended together into anyone’s bag depending on their ability.
Srixon’s Tour V.T. sole is found in each iron to help create a smooth interaction with the ground. A clean strike is really important when changing clubs between models to avoid any large gaps in your distances. The Tour V.T. sole will also be featured in Srixon’s ZXi-U driving irons too.

Pricing
The ZXi7, ZXi5, ZXi4 irons all come in at the same price of £999 (Steel) for a set of six or £1,099 (Graphite).
Srixon’s ZXi-U driving irons start from £239 with either steel or graphite.
