Fujikura Adds New Speeder NX Gold Shaft

Fujikura have added another option to their extensive and well-renowned shaft lineup, by introducing the new Speeder NX Gold.

Designed for golfers who are looking to generate more speed without sacrificing stability or control, the NX Gold combines new materials and design technologies to deliver consistent results on every shot.

The shaft features new technologies including Variable Torque Core, and Dual-Helix Technology.

Fujikura says that the end result is a stable feeling shaft during transition, producing faster ball speeds and tighter dispersion.

Variable Torque Core (VTC)

A structure within the shaft’s core offers torsional stiffness in selected areas. This enhances stability, and helps to tighten dispersion. The core also optimises torque in the right areas for smoother and better control.

Dual-Helix Bias Technology (DHX)

This sees the introduction of a secondary bias layer (essential the angle that the shaft’s material is laid in), in a new orientation. This encourages a faster energy transfer at impact, for faster ball speeds while keeping the same feel you’d expect from a Speeder shaft.

Enso

Fujikura used their enso 3D motion capture system to produce the Speeder NX Gold, with the help of real-time player analytics and testing of multiple iterations. Enso was key to the introduction of the new VTC and DHX technologies.

The Fujikura Speeder NX Gold is offered in the following specs:

50-R, 50-SR, 50-S, 60-SR, 60-S, 60-X, 70-S, 70-X.

It’s available now, with an MSRP of $400.
