Whilst the Titleist 910 fairway woods are worthy successors to the classy 909 fairways and come in tow models, the 910F and 910Fd.
Both models have larger heads than then previous 909 models but we feel that this is still a better players fairway as the head is a little on the compact side.
The 910F is a very classy looking club and the sound, feel and trajectory were very good and definitely an improvement. The SureFit Tour hosel is a great addition to this club as it enables to increase or decrease loft to suit the course you are playing, without having to pick between a 3 wood and a strong 3 wood or a 4 wood.
We think the Titleist 910Fd fairway wood is the fairway that better players have been waiting for. The larger head not looks better at address than the Titleist 910F fairway wood , but also adds forgiveness thanks to a higher MOI figure of 2880 compared to the 2620 of the 910F.
The bezel weight is moved closer to the face for a lower trajectory and this is ideal for using from the tee. The Titleist 910Fd fairway is a perfect blend of looks, performance, adjustability and forgiveness and we think Titleist is on to a real winner with this club.
If you like to shape your fairway woods then the Titleist 910F is the one to go for as the larger headed Titleist 910Fd fairway wood has a greater MOI from its larger head.
Speak to you local Titleist fitter to work out which of these club is better suited to your game but make sure you try them out as they are excellent fairway woods.
