The Sonartec SS 2.5 fairway wood is a great performing club that has a little more forgiveness than the NP99 fairway as the head is a little shorter and a bit deeper.
When we tested this club it produced the best ball flight of the 3 Sonartec models out of all lies, even dodgy ones, and gave a great feeling of confidence behind the ball.
As the head is a little smaller it did not sound as good as the NP99 or the 3.5 and could even be described as a little 'tinny', but at the end of the day it is results that count and the Sonartec SS 2.5 fairway wood delivers this in spades.
